Introduction to “Department of Radio & Television”
Department of Radio & Television is established in September, 2016. The faculty members all hold PhD or Master of Journalism from distinguished universities, such as Wuhai University, Xiamen University, Ji’nan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University; they also have rich experience in teaching, or long-term practical experiences of working in journalism and media. In addition, Department of Radio & Television employs many experts and scholars as part-time professors and master’s supervisors who come from celebrated media and universities.
Department of Radio & Television includes one Master Degree, Research in Journalism, and one Bachelor Degree, Radio & Television. With the aim of “solid foundation, distinct major, sufficient practice, and excellent innovation”, as well as the characteristics of “combining learning with innovation, and breath with specialization”, the department enjoys a comparatively integrated talent cultivation system of undergraduate and graduate education.
Department of Radio & Television cultivates mainly interdisciplinary talents and applied talents in the field of new media, who will undertake the work of news gathering and editing, public relations, promotion planning, teaching and research, etc, in the units and departments of all-levels of media, universities, enterprises, literature and arts organizations, etc.
